Great Bromley and District Cricket Club Sunday XI squad

Currently in Division C of the Two Counties League.
Sunday XI

Captain : Tom Higgins

He used to be a shy boy but now he downs pints like Nick eats pies!

He is a member of the Geoff Boycott appreciation society and bats accordingly. He falls over a lot in the field, sometimes near the ball.

Vice Captain : Tom Dodd

'The Fringe' as he loves to be called is always at the club. I think he might live there? Another of the conveyor belt of young talent that Pip and co have nurtured, Tom is an accurate seam bowler. He's a very good scorer too, he gets that from his Mum.

Favourite Cricketer: James Anderson

Charlie Allam

Laid back Charlie is taking on a new role this year. He's tried his arm as a bowler and a batsman, now he's a wicketkeper. Make of that what you will!

James Carver-Hardy
James is a promising young all-rounder, His Dad Dave has been promising James will be a world beater for a few seasons now. In the real world James has progressed nicely and we look forward to his contributions in 2018 but only on a Sunday!
Adam Cuthbert
1st XI Vice-Captain Adam is a mainstay of the club, playing Saturdays, Sundays, Wednesdays and any other day there is Cricket on. Despite this his run rate has never risen past the 'dull' setting, batsman at the other end run themselves out in order to not have to watch him! Never-the-less he is a much loved figure and is very good at collecting match fees. Loves a Cruise ans an egg sandwich.
Ed Fairley
Big 'Ed' Ed has become a regular face in the Sunday XI. If Ed could bowl every over and bat against every ball he would. H'ed be an amazing Captain too, infact there is nothing Ed isn't brilliant at, apart from................................
Nick Holyman

Nick Who?

Achievements - Relegation 2017.

Ankush Jagota
Ankush is a new member to the club recruited by Adam. Ankush is best known round the club as Bhushan. However Ankush has been a great addition to the club. He has fitted into Bromley ways very quickly with learning that kit goes flying when you get out. On his good days, he is excellent, on his bad days, he's asleep
Richard Lawson
Richard is as useful off the pitch as on it. His incredible hard work over the winter of 14/15 has seen the club transformed into a modern facility. Ok no-one is now alowed to sit down or take kit into the changing rooms but it looks lovely anyway! Richard is an elegant left handed batsman who loves a straight drive, usually aerial. He is a speciallist slip fielder too and never gets flustered... unless there's a football mark on his walls!
Bradley Mann

Bradley (High Tower) Mann is the complete opposite of his brother, who's name escapes me,Brad is a modest, faithful and pleasant human being who can generate a fair pace when bowling but watch out for that (not obvious at all) slower ball

Favourite Cricketer: Stuart Broad

Cricketer Most Rese: Ben Stokes

Olly Wright
Son of Colts manager and club legend Did, he is right handed but unsure if he is a bowler/batsman or batsman/bowler or maybe wicketkeeper? one thing he isnt is a fielder! He possess a sharp wit but missed the majority of the 2012 season due to commitments in his bedroom.
