Great Bromley & District cricket club was formed in 1920. The ground, which is situated behind the village hall, is widely regarded as a beautiful place to play cricket.
The club has two senior teams playing on a saturday in Division 6 of the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties League and on a sunday in Division 1 of the PDQ North East Essex League
Senior nets take place from 6pm every wednesday and Kwik cricket every friday for 6-11 year olds.
