Match report With Heavy showers promised for anytime after tea, this was agame for Bromley to try and get over and done with as quickly as possible hopefully with a win.
DBSL batted first on a much improved strip but they were soon struggling. Cloke the mainstay of most decent scores DBSL put together was first out bowled by Harry for just 8 and the home side must have feared the worst. The 2nd wicket tok a while to arrive mainly because of wayward bowling but the introduction of Rob and Billy changed all that. DBSL were soon 55-4 but a decent partnership between Miller and Howland at least took the hosts beyond 100. Jake and Liam polished off the tail to leave Bromley chasing a modest target of 126 to win
They achieved this in just 20 overs with Jake undefeated on 38 and Craig made his now usual half century. Another 20 points and not long after the game ended, the rain duly arrived, too late though for DBSL.
