Match report On a lovely warm sunny day Bromley won the toss and batted first on what looked like another belter of a wicket. It turned out to be run fest for one man, Simon Prestney. He dispatched the Galleywood bowlers to all parts of the ground showing no mercy to the 9 man team. His maiden hundred for the 1st XI came off just 74 balls and didn't stop there. He continued to power his way through the innings before he was bowled in the 44th over for a brillent 156 off 113 balls. There were useful contributions from Louis (49) and Rich (30) as Bromley finished on an imposing 322-9.
Galleywoods response got off to a poor start as Nick had 3 wickets in his first 3 overs. Galleywood then recovered with Pinkerton (51), Taylor (48) and Storey (32) all scoring well but with the Bromley bowlers chipping in reguarly Galleywood were never close to challenging the home sides 322. The away side were finally dismissed in the last over for 164. Nick Holyman being the pick of bowlers with impressive figures of 3-33 from his 10 overs on debut for the 1st XI.
